サイクリングの聖地でもある滋賀県の琵琶湖のビワイチが、令和元年１１月７日に国土交通省が指定するナショナルサイクルルート第１号に選ばれた記念に更なる普及につながるよう、平成２１年からＮＷＷＡびわ湖ＰＲプロジェクトとして日本で初めて名物となるウォーターボール®で湖上体験する観光事業を企画したアクアティックディレクターの御舩が、新たに企画立案する【ＮＷＷＡアクアポタリングTM 体験。】事業を愛称のアクポタで各地域に展開していくことにより、国定公園第１号の琵琶湖の名物観光事業として、シャトルバイクキット（イタリア製）× 自転車で水上にプカプカと浮かび自由にポタリングして、浮御堂や白髭神社、沖島や海津大崎、びわこ花噴水や近江＆琵琶湖大橋、また湖上の謎の施設で有名な雄琴沖総合自動観測所などなどインスタ映えスポットを湖上散策するメモリアルな体験プログラムがニューツーリズムの目玉となります。
